The shop and what this covers

Working San Mateo & the towns beside it from San Mateo, CA, Hillsdale Lock & Key San Mateo is an independent locksmith. This policy covers hillsdalelocksmithsanmateo.com and the job files created from it. Calls reach our own dispatch and nothing here is resold.

From the quiz

Name, phone number, the neighbourhood, an optional email if you want the figure written down, and your description of the lock. That is the only form on the site — no account, no newsletter, no chat window.

From the visit

The page the request came from and any campaign tag in the link, kept with the job as attribution. Our host keeps ordinary server logs for uptime and security. No profile of you is built.

From a phone call

A Twilio tracking line, (650) 532-7959, passes callers to dispatch. The carrier logs the calling number, the time and the duration of the call, and nothing of what was said — the audio is never recorded. The log lets us return a dropped call.

From a booking

The booking button opens Nexfield (nexfield.pro), the scheduler this shop uses. What you type there — name, number, address, slot — is Nexfield's to handle under its own terms, and comes back to us as a confirmed job. Those slots are equally available over the phone.

Cookies and counting

This site sets no cookies at all, which is why no consent banner appears. PostHog counts visits in cookieless mode with replay and automatic click capture switched off: page opened, phone tapped, booking tapped, quiz submitted.

Block us-assets.i.posthog.com and the counting stops for you while every page keeps working. No ad pixels, no retargeting tags.

What we send you

The number you leave is used for that job: price and window confirmed, technician named, arrival flagged. Service messages, not marketing, and no campaigns afterwards. Rates are your carrier's; a single STOP ends the texting.

Who else sees it

Our carrier, our scheduler, our dispatch, plus the card processor if a card is used at the door. That is all.

None of it is sold, rented, swapped or handed to another locksmith or contractor.

How long it is kept

While the warranty on that work is live, and as long as tax and lien rules require; codes tied to an address go when the job closes. Email info@hillsdalelocksmithsanmateo.com for a copy of what we hold or to have it erased.

Under California law — the CCPA with its CPRA amendments — you can demand the list, demand its deletion, and demand confirmation that none of it was traded. Same address, or (650) 532-7959, with no change to your service.

Children

This site is for owners, tenants and drivers, not children, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13.

Changes

Rewritten when the facts change, with the date below moved. No public archive of earlier versions is kept.
